WEDNESDAY: Freya Rivers; Broadway Actress Ana Andricain; Professor Kirby Goidel; Greg Dicharry

Freya Anderson Rivers, Baton Rouge native and one of the first African-Americans to attend LSU, joins Jim in the studio as the first guest of the day. She discusses her early life in Baton Rouge, how she had to leave Southern Lab High School to attend Lee High due to desegregation, how she had to endure racism at LSU, and she talks about her memoir Swallowed Tears.

Broadway Actress Ana Andricain and Conductor Daivd Torns stop by to discuss the Symphony Pops at the LSU Rural Life Museum on May 10th, where they will be performing music from the American songbook, as well as patriotic and movie theme music.

Soon to be former Director of LSU's Manship School's Research Facility and Mass Com Professor Kirby Goidel talks with Jim about leaving LSU for Texas A&M in College Station, TX. He and Jim as well discuss the upcoming Senate race, and Jindal's push for the presidency.

Greg Dicharry talks with Jim about the MY LIFE Youth Day at the Capitol on May 8th which will provide youth a unique hands-on educational experience to learn about state government first hand.

MONDAY: Filmmaker Zack Godshall with Susan Schaller, Professors Geoff Nagle and Kirby Goidel

Jim chats with south Louisiana filmmaker Zack Godshall, director of the documentary "A Man Without Words", and author Susan Schaller, who wrote the non-fiction book upon which the film is based.

Tulane University's Dr. Geoff Nagle and LSU's Dr. Kirby Goidel discuss a recent joint study on early childhood development in Louisiana.
